Frequently Asked Questions

Here is a list of common questions that our clients ask us. If you need more information don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.

a. Most Estimates are free of charge. There are some estimates that have a cost! these are typically projects that require multiple people working for multiple days. However, the cost is credited at the contract signing.

a. Estimates can take anywhere between 1 to 10 hours of being on site gathering information. Typically, we discuss what you as the customer is looking for, what your budget is, we answer questions that you have, we also give you additional information about the project. (it really all depends on the project size)

b. Once we have all the information i.e. photos, measurements, & your wants and needs.We then begin the process of putting together a detailed estimate. This estimate breaks down all the material and labor costs. It will additionally include any permitting fees required by the local and state government agencies. This process takes between 1 day to 2 weeks; depending on the complexity of the project.

a. Payment 1 is the 10% down payment or $1,000 (due at contract signing)

b. Payment 2 is once all material has arrived on site (cost of material only)

c. Payment 3 is due once the work is complete

a. We do not offer payment plans.

i. However, we do offer net, 30, 45, 60, 75 for Commercial, Industrial, and Government clients

a. We take the following forms of payment

i. Cash

ii. Check

iii. Credit Cards

iv. Debit Cards

v. ACH

vi. Wire transfers

a. Once you tell us that you accept the estimate, we then have our lawyer write up a contract for the project.

i. This is required by New Jersey State law

b. Once the contract is complete we will contact you to schedule an appointment to have you sign it.

c. You will be required to make a 10% down payment or $1,000 whichever is less.

a. Under the law you have the right to cancel the contract within three (3) days of signing the contract. Additionally, your 10% down payment or $1,000 will be fully refunded.

b. Exception:

i. Sometimes customers are not willing to wait for the three (3) days and want us to start on the project right away. If you choose to cancel the contract after we have begun work. You will be liable to pay us for the incurred cost of material, labor, and permit fees for the work that we have completed.

a. That is hard to answer as each project is different. Some projects take 5 minutes while other take 5 years.

b. You will be given a rough estimate when you receive the estimate as to the amount t of time it will take.

c. However, that can change due is weather, Inspection issues, etc.

a. Once the project is complete we go over the project with you. We will answer any questions you have.

b. We will make notes if there are changes you want to make

i. Most of the time this will require a change order and or additional cost to you.

ii. Exception:

1. The only time you will not be charges for changes, is if we did something wrong.

c. Once everything is complete. You will pay us the final payment.

a. Yes! Most projects come with a one (1) year warranty.

b. Other projects may come with a five (5) year warranty
